What types of photography services do you offer? I specialise in capturing beautiful moments for a wide range of occasions, including:

Newborn Photography: Adorable, intimate moments with your newborn to remember forever. Motherhood Photography: Capturing the beauty of motherhood, whether you’re expecting or have a young child. Engagement Photography: Celebrate your love and commitment with a romantic engagement shoot. Couples Photography: A perfect session to capture the connection and love between you and your partner. Elopement Photography: Intimate and beautiful captures of your elopement or small, private wedding ceremony. Wedding Photography: Document your special day with professional and artistic wedding photography. Milestone Photography: Celebrate your little one’s 1st birthday or special milestones with a fun and memorable Cake Smash session.
How do I book a session with you? Booking a session is easy! Simply reach out to me via the Book Now Page or email me at chloemichellephotography@outlook.com. When you contact me, please include the following details: - Type of session (e.g., family, engagement, maternity, etc.) - Preferred date and time - Location (if it’s an on-location shoot) - Any special requests or ideas you have in mind To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking. You will be invoiced via the email you provide, and payment can be made via bank transfer or Stripe. The deposit must be paid within 24 hours to secure your session.
At the time of booking, you will also be required to sign a contract to confirm the terms and conditions of our agreement. Once both the deposit and signed contract are received, your session is officially booked.
Do you travel for shoots outside the Gold Coast? Yes, I love exploring new locations for shoots! I’m happy to travel for shoots outside the Gold Coast. However, please note that some locations may incur a travel fee depending on the distance and logistics. If you're planning a shoot outside the area, let me know, and I’ll discuss the details and any additional costs.
How long will it take to receive my photos? I aim to deliver your gallery within 1-2 weeks after the session, with the photos fully edited and ready for you to enjoy. However, during busy seasons (e.g., Christmas), it may take 2-3 weeks for delivery due to higher demand. Rest assured, I’ll keep you updated and get your images to you as quickly as possible while ensuring the highest quality.
Can I choose which photos I want edited? I will choose a full gallery of 60-100 of the best images from your session. These images will be professionally edited and watermarked for preview purposes. The watermark will automatically be removed when you download the images from your gallery.
The link to your password-protected gallery will be sent to the email address you provide. From there, you will be able to view and download the number of images included in your package. If you'd like to purchase additional images, you can select and buy them directly from the gallery storefront.
Once you make your purchase, the link to download the remaining images will be automatically sent to the email you provided at checkout.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my booking? If you need to reschedule your session, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance. I understand that life can be unpredictable, so instead of canceling, all sessions must be rescheduled. Your deposit is non-refundable, but it will be applied to the rescheduled session. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session will still result in a loss of your deposit, as I reserve that time specifically for you.
Please note that all money paid is non-refundable, including your deposit, even if you reschedule.
Do you offer prints? Yes, I offer high-quality prints! After you receive your gallery, feel free to contact me directly to order prints or other photo products like canvases, framed prints, or photo albums.
What should I wear to my photoshoot? Choosing the right outfit is key to a great photoshoot! Here are some general tips:
For families and couples: I recommend coordinating outfits in soft, neutral tones or complementary colours. Avoid overly bright or patterned clothing that might distract from the subject. For maternity and newborn sessions: Soft, flowy fabrics work well for maternity, while simple, comfortable clothing works best for newborn shoots. If you’re unsure about your outfits, feel free to reach out, and I can guide you based on your shoot style.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate on the day of my shoot? If you’re booked for an outdoor shoot (e.g., beach, park, or other scenic locations) and the weather looks uncertain, I may need to reschedule.
If the forecast predicts rain, I prefer to wait until 2 hours before the scheduled session time to make a final decision on rescheduling. This allows me to assess the most accurate forecast and avoid having you travel to the shoot location only for the weather to change. I always strive to find a solution that works best for both you and your session.
Do you offer gift certificates? Yes, I offer gift certificates for all types of sessions, perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, or other special occasions. You can purchase them in any denomination, and they can be used for any of my photography services. Contact me for more information on how to purchase one.
How far in advance should I book my session? I recommend booking at least 6 weeks in advance, especially for weddings and other special occasions. However, if you have a last-minute request, feel free to reach out—I’ll do my best to accommodate you!
How do you edit my photos? I focus on enhancing natural beauty and ensuring that your images reflect the true essence of the moment. I do not alter your natural looks through heavy manipulation, as I believe in showcasing you as you are.
Minor blemishes such as teeth whitening or removing bruises are edited as part of my regular process. However, I do not provide extensive Photoshop services to drastically change your appearance.
My goal is to enhance the colors in your photos, highlight the natural light, and bring out the best of the environment around you while maintaining an authentic, timeless look.
I have a consistent editing style that you can see across my website and social media platforms. It’s important that you like this editing style before booking, as this is how I will edit your images—I believe in creating a cohesive and authentic aesthetic across all my work. Do you have a studio? I currently do not have a studio. However, I am happy to arrange studio hire if you’d like to do an indoor shoot. I have a list of trusted studios in Brisbane and the Gold Coast that I can recommend or help you book, for an additional fee. Just let me know, and I will gladly organize this for you!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Full galleries will be sent within 1-2 weeks. Galleries are uploaded in high resolution to a private online gallery. When your gallery is ready to view, you will receive a link and password via email. Please note that I do not provide 'previews' as i like to spend lots of time perfecting your images before they are sent.

I aim to reply to all inquiries within 24hrs. Book your date, pay the deposit on your invoice & sign your contract. Pay remaining amount by due date. Pick your outfits from client wardrobe or provide your own.
